Which song are you trying to upload, anyway?

Actually, it's a collection of g3 songs. Most on Youtube are of somewhat poor quality so I ripped them from the specials and made them into mp3s for those that want to hear them.

Just pick a g3 image and use that. I gues you'll need someone else to help find a good image.

By the way, does anyone know if Princess Luna actually made a cameo in To The Moon? Our trope page says so, but I didn't see her.

I have a question. has anyone made a fic that is essentially a G4 version of the G3 specials?

Sadly, no. G3 fics are very rare.

Well then Maybe I'll try a shot at adapting the Lily Lightly special to G4 s a fic then. Now if only I can get my hands on the synopsis. (I'm not interested in watching anything G3 at the moment, if at all)

Sounds a little odd. You want to adapt a special, even though you don't want to see it.

I've heard Minty and Star Catcher look good in the design department.

That reminds me of the time I read an ollllld post on a pre-G4 forum talking about the then recently released teaser for Friendship is Magic, which was just the show's intro, and the poster compared Celestia to Star Catcher.

[up][up]I'm well aware of the Hypocrisy inherent in adapting a special I have no intention on watching (and wanting to see G3 character in G4 despite that I don't want to watch G3)

But I'm a bit hesitant in writing my Punishment sequel and I have writers block with my Attack of the 50-Foot Filly sequel, and I want to try my hand at writing something like this as an experiment of sorts.

[up] Winged Unicorns (at least i think Star Catcher is one) that look different form normal ponies and seem to be princesses or connected to the sky, the comparison was inevitable.

Star Catcher does have similarities to Celestia mostly being a wise pony who has mystical qualities and a somewhat mischievous personality.

Though if you want to try adapting something Morning, I'd suggest Two for the Sky.

Just found the SDC stuff. Awesome! I'm wondering why Pinkie is involved in the Apple Family, and what's going on in the Luna storyboard but it looks like S4 is going in interesting directions.

I'm surprised so many people are still confused about this. Pinkie (and the rest of the Mane 6) have been honorary members of the Apple Family since the Flim Flam episode.

I see Crowninja has returned to the thread.

I've been here almost the whole time, actually. It's just that I more prefer lurking the thread now and only tend to post for episode reactions and comment about random things like that if no one else did already. (Also, sorry about dropping the ball on First Contact. >_>)

[up]Wait, they are? Maybe I should watch that episode again...

[up][up]We're kind of lacking a context for the Pinkie scene. We know that the mane 6 are honorary members, but why is this episode singling out Pinkie specifically? Did she have some sort of falling out with her own family, or does she feel a lack of belonging that would cause her to seek out a 'better' family?

I figure she just heard the Apple Family was going on a trip and naively assumed that meant here too. Seems like a good gag and a good excuse for Pinkie and AJ to hang out. There'll probably be more to it though. Maybe she's missing her family, and this'll be the same episode her sisters make an appearance.

Yeah, considering how happy she was to be 'accepted' in that song, there must be something internal driving it.

Watching the animatic its clear the Apples are on some kind of road trip, and its not like Applejack's friends haven't accompanied her before on a Apple Family related trip, its just only Pinkie Pie joining her this time.

I wonder if the superhero episode well continue delving into the idea of Equestria being part of a Multiverse. First a human world, now a superhero one....

wild mass guess Other Alternate Worlds will be visited in this season, building up to the season finale where the Mane Six go to the Dark World. Cue the music! wild mass guess

Maybe its an earth pony thing? She's going with the Apples to try and be more like a normal earth pony, or to perhaps try and understand her family through Applejack's.`

Just watched the animatic again, and I never thought I'd say this, but Big Mac is oddly adorable in that song. That dance they pull off while pulling the wagon...

I remember seeing a post that compared Fluttershy (not yet named) to Posey.
