I use Monopoly money.
That's my dream. It's my nightmare. Crawling, slithering, along the edge of a straight razor … and surviving.
@Apple: As well as it can be, considering I'll be heading back to work in the main office next week.
I sell propane and propane accessories.

I finance both sides of a pointless corporate war to drive the participants to bankruptcy so I can buy them both at rockbottom prices.
I steal money from homeless puppies.
There is a huge difference between knowing someone and being friends with them. I have no doubt that Pinkie has been to a party with every pony in Ponyville and has memorized their names, but how many of them do you think she was close to? Outside the Cakes she doesn't hang out with anyone not in the mane cast. Heck, even Twi hangs out with Cheerilee.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
@JT: My job isn't too bad, I get to go to all the MINDEF bases to help with certain projects, also I got to see an honest-to-goodness Metal Gear. Or at least I insist I saw one. Non-nuclear version of course.
Man, after hearing about all of you guys, my job seems downright fun.
Don't worry, my job's awesome.

what I'd really like to do is write, but honestly I kinda prefer keeping that as a hobby. The minute I start trying to do it for money it'll add a whole new level of stress to it.
Right you are. Just writing for fun and writing to get it published (meaning: almost always an original fiction) are on a different scale of effort. And writing it just to get it published and writing for money are on yet another scale of effort.
I am currently writing a novel (the working title -
The Cemetery Girl, by the way), and so far I got 60k words, which 144 pages on A4 paper, and apparently that roughly translates into 210 pages on paperback. I initially planned to get it published by the end of this summer, but seeing how I am not even close to finish even the first draft, it's going to be a bit delayed, all right.
With red flame of my heart and the blue vision for future, I shall paint tomorrow's sky.
