I'm so worn out from the maddening, almost constant pain in my feet. The skin on the top of my feet is so thin it peels off just from making contact with my slippers. I blame my diabetes. Wearing shoes or sneakers is out of the question. It seems like almost every waking moment now is spent in pain, under the influence of painkillers, or both.

I know you all must be really tired of my bitching by now. I'm truly sorry.

Before I came to my senses I had considered doing a fic where humans gt turned into ponies and end up in Equestria and go into detail about how weird it is to adjust into quadrupedal mannerisms, a meat-less diet, etc. And for added comedy it was to star the faces as independent entities.

Anyhow, in other news in a few hours I will be streaming. Thank you, I hate you all.

Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.

@Syd: Hope you feel better, man. But seriously, lay off the alcohol. That stuff can react really badly with pretty much any sort of drug. It might be painful, but we'd all prefer that you not die. Have you tried like a foot-bath or something like that?

Have you looked into medical Capsaicin treatment? I remember seeing a show once were it was used to treat exactly what you have, chronic foot pain.

Capsaicin is the stuff that makes peppers spicy. in it's concentrated form, it's so powerful that it deadens the nerves in your skin to the point that they can't transmit pain signals anymore.

the lack of pain isn't permanent, although I don't know how long it lasts.

and even then, if you're experiencing debilitating pain literally 24/7, it might still be worth it.
