By the way, even if I don't always post as much, I read pretty much all the posts on this thread (or skim over the posts that are about things that don't interest me). I don't like to thread-hop; the only time I did that was when I joined the thread for the very first time. Then again, I'm a fast reader, so that might not be as much of an issue for me.

Oh yeah, that was this weekend! There was suppose to be a Hall of Fame thing (similar to Transformers' Hall of Fame

) this year, with Bonnie Zacherle and two ponies being the first inductees!

...Wonder who the ponies were.

They'll probably follow anyone cooler than them. I doubt they're loyal to Sunset specifically.

@Whatshis: Is it just me, or is Chrysalis missing her neck? Also, They go to the trouble of putting a muffin for Derpy's name, but they can't be bothered to find a vector for Lyra that isn't recolored stock art of Twilight?

Well we know that ponies have flushing toilets, so it can't be too different.

Equestria girls is one big homage to Generation 2. It hit me as I watched the sugarcube corner scene(Now with shakes)

Probably meant My Little Pony Tales, for some reason it's mistakenly called that even though it's still G1 material despite the separate continuity. Heck, even the Brony Doc made that mistake.

No, that would be Applejack and Pinkie Pie. They've been in more than one gen with Applejack having the honor of being in every one.

Tales is probably mistaken for G2 because its a different continuity from the Dream Valley cartoons and G2 didn't have an Animated Adaptation and only lasted a year in the US. People remember the cartoons more than the toys.

It might have to do with there's already a G4 toy named Cup Cake. Also, toy trademarks are a tricky thing apparently. I'm 98% sure that's why we get the occasional Adaptation Name Change like Twist-a-loo and randomly adding to names like Trixie Lulamoon, Diamond Dazzle Tiara, Flim Skim. For whatever reason Hasbro can't trademark just Diamond Tiara, Flim, or Trixie for the toyline.

Yeah, I think the issue is that things like "Flim" or "Trixie" are too vague to trademark on their own, so they tag extra stuff on just to be on the safe side.

Pretty much. I've said it before: They're followers. They just latch on to ponies/people of seemingly higher status without so much as a second thought, because they want to be cool or whatever.
