I already posted this a few days ago, but I got ignored because I ended up at the bottom of the page when I posted it. So here's this topic again.

I think giving the next Big Bad a 2nd-in-command that he has a type 1 Villainous Friendship would be interesting to see in Mlp Fim given how the show revolves around Friendship, which in a way would make the two villians involved in a reversed Not So Different compared to the mane 6. So far all the big bad's we've seen have been loners. The closest we've gotten so far is DT and SS, but they aren't exactly Big Bad or The Dragon matieral.

Hair definitely needs toned down yeah. I was thinking...dark...smokey...looks like an octopus...and her colours? Black all over? Like the gold eyes? I want to get some purple in there too. And with or without clothes?

So my friends finally discovered my long-hidden bronyness and one of my friends is currently bingeing season 1 and gushing about it regularly. It's nice to not be nervous about letting it slip anymore.

@Apple: I like the design, but it's too messy to really tell that much yet.

A good idea, but the problem is run-time. Episodes are already so short that there's very little focus/screentime to go around, so having two villains strains that even further. Unless they want to finally add some recurring villains...

All the major villains so far have been in two part episodes. That should be enough time to develop two villains as long as they get plenty of screen time.

@Blue: Agreed. If they're going to do that they need a season-spanning villain or it's going to be way too crammed. They already have trouble with fitting everything in.

Also, I know that feeling. Like a year ago I found out that one of my best friends was also big into the show, and it's awesome to have someone to talk to about it in meatspace.

@JT and Bluespade: Or they could have two villians in a Mlp Fim movie if one gets made someday {One that's around 90 minutes long and is actually about ponies and not Doug-colored humanizations, I mean}.

I'm thinking season 4 will have stronger continuity given the light arc of Twilight's progression in s3 and the Games Ponies Play/Just for Sidekicks episodes happening at the same time. There's also a similar case with Sonic Rainboom/Cutie Mark Chronicles and the Gala.

@dark: Well there's probably going to be a running "Twi learns how to be a princess" arc throughout the season. So presumably that means more continuity as well.
