If Pinkie could harness the power of combat and song, she'd be twice as powerful.

Twice as deadly.

May Celestia have mercy on us all.[lol]

Hiya guys! I heard EQG is actually good, or at least not bad. Is that a universal agreement, or do some places hate it?

I haven't seen it yet so I've been avoiding reviews.

Stevebat and I saw it yesterday. Overall, it was better than expected.

Hey, Story, take a look at this

I don't really get it. Are the languages supposed to reflect their personalities or something?

But that'll give him all kinds of spoilers.

Also last I checked it was loaded down with Project Horizons. Better to keep it here if possible.

Can you think of an easy(ish) to learn language that's good for programming games and doesn't require administrative rights to install or use?

Depends on what kind of game you want. But for easy to learn, it's hard to beat Python. Once you've got your feet wet with that, you might start with languages more suited to game making like Javascript or C++.

@ Story. Well with no spoilers, the general opinion is pretty damn good and definitely worth watching. The only hing I've seen people have issues with is Sunset seems to be rather basic and not really fleshed out beyond generic Alpha Bitch.

Not sure. You're the AI. I was hoping you'd tell me.

Oh yeah, Equestria Girls. I'm curios enough to watch it.
Yeah, Andromeda is heading for you. You got over 9000 years until it collides.

Superman's more powerful, but Celestia does have control of the sun - the source of Superman's powers. Would she be able to drain the solar energy in his cells? Would she be able to generate red sun radiation?

Celestia's been defeated by Chrysalis, which I don't think would happen to Superman. Discord's a ash since he could beat Superman too. Ultimately, I think it comes down to their roles in the story. Celestia doesn't seem the super powerful type, while Superman falls under Only The W Riters Can Challenge Him Now. So I'd say Superman hooves down, but Sereg will probably disagree.

In fact I'm effectively being paid to see it this Friday.

How'd that happen?

People say Celestia was holding back during her fight with Chrysalis, but I am not entirely certain if that's the case.

Same here. I just don't think that what we've seen really jibes with the superpowers that people like to bestow on her. I used to think she was practically a god, but that's just not how the story treats her.

I'm leaning towards the interpretation that Celestia initially did want Twi to save the Crystal Empire all by her lonesome, and only decided afterwards that "You saved the day but you got help, so FAIL" was kind of stupid.

I thought it was pretty clear from the beginning that she'd have to have help. This is a show about friendship after all. I was just surprised the Mane 5 didn't play a bigger role.

[up][up][up]Don't be fooled. They weren't paying attention. She gets really fleshed out near the end.

Yeah, general consensus on EG is basically "It's good, but the original characters needed to be fleshed out more."

So I think it could be a way to experience works I normally could not. Thus is the power of ponies.

Reminds me of how I often watch L Ps of games to see what they're like. It works especially well for stuff like Ace Attorney that's basically just a story already.

All I'm going to say is that it's possible to interpret Celestia's power level as anything from godlike to not much more powerful than Twilight, and leave it at that.

Now everyone's going to start debating Twilight's power levle. tongue

If Pinkie sang this, any surrounding targets would explode into glitter.

Or this from dangerously high levels of sugar poisoning.

From Twilight Sparkle and the Crystal Heart Spell:
This meant that Twilight was now able to harness the magical powers of the Unicorns, the flight abilities of the Pegasi, and the strength of a good, true heart of an Earth Pony.
So, what is this, cardio?

At least the earth ponies won't be the first to go when the zombiepocalypse starts.

"The strength of a good, true heart of an Earth Pony" makes it sound like Earth Ponies are the hobbits of Equestria.

I can see it now... AJ and Pinkie taking the place of Frodo and Sam as they venture to destroy a Horseshoe of Power. Though, who would be Frodo and who would be Sam?

One horseshoe to rule them all, one horseshoe to find them?
One horseshoe to bring them all and in the darkness bind them?

The meter here works way better than the original.
