So hey, I wanted to try this sooner, and with better presentation, but that sadistic bastard that is real life wouldn't let me. It's some colour ideas for Fancy Free, bold explorer extraordinaire:

The one on the left is my original primary colour champion scheme

◊, the one in the middle is an idea that came to me that has him as a red haired Fancy Pants

◊, a literally red oni to his blue, and the last is...just to see how bad that scheme is so I'll stop considering it.

I'm sorry at how rough it is. I'm not very well at the moment, physically and emotionally. I hope it's good enough to get the point across at least. And tomorrow I'll work on his mane and tail.

Applelight I will be completely blunt with you.

It still sucks. I can't tell apart who is who and the signs of Palette Swap is far too obvious.

However, it has greatly significantly improved since the last time I saw. You are walking the right path.

I'm not really seeing how it "sucks". It's really rough, to be sure, but it's not supposed to be a finished product. The basic concept and design looks pretty good to me.

Eeeyep, that was the plan.

I think red hair, white coat, blue eyes and hooves and a gold CM would really suit him. As Fancy Pant's younger brother, he'll look more or less just like him but the hair suggests he's much more passionate, fiery and hot tempered than his older sibling.

It's OK.

Speaking of the world of Equestria, are we shown anything outside of it in any maps? Or even if it's a round planet in the first place?

The second Story Arc of the comics show that it is indeed a round planet, and I know there's been a globe spotted in the show a couple of times. The most of the lands outside of Equestria we've seen is in the first Story Arc of (again) the comics; in one issue Andy Price drew a map of the lands south of Equestria that the Mane Six were traveling through.

My interpretation is that, like Irish, the moon and the sun is the same size. Also, they are vastly smaller. In fact, I would more classify them as stupidly huge rocks, not something nearly as big as our Moon.

The same size? I'm not sure, but the comics showed the crew going to the moon, and it appears to be of a size, and distance from our planet, comparable to our own moon.

@Enlong: It also showed them being capable of using a lasso to drag it closer to earth, presumably without screwing up their tides or anything. Luna was also apparently able to fly to and from the moon without much difficulty, so it's obviously not 250, 000 miles away. It must be smaller than our moon.

Well I read both arcs of the comic and the first 4 (soon to be 5) issues of the micro. I have every issues of the micro (digital) Issues 1 (print, I finished the arc on youtube), 5, 6, 7, and 8, (digital)

@JT I'd added a Fridge Horror entry about that, and the Explosive Decompression that would had ensued if they didn't land on the moon.
