I dunno, most babies are more sociopathic than adults. I mean, they poop on you, barf on you, bite you, pull your hair, and they just do not give a crap.

They only get away with it because they're too tiny to do any real damage.

Oh, please. Wordplay is what I do.

Well, aside from other things that I do. Like skip nightly picdumps because I don't feel like doing it, and come in to a stream in time to catch just the last minute of the episode.

Not in my experience. The only real difference is that many classes are larger and there's less opportunity to talk to the teacher.

I made an edit about Rarity.

Basically, she should be higher in my rankings, but isn't, due to my instinctual belief that people who care about their appearance are evil.

No real experience with babies, but I had a Golden retriever puppy who thought legs were something to ATTACK! I can honestly say that I didn't like that little Cerberus very much. Then, she got her adult teeth, and turned into the sweetest dog I ever owned.

It is a silly belief. Rarity's helping me get over it.

It's ... complicated.

Basically, it feels like they're telling me I have to spend time and money telling the lie that I'm not unnatractive when I'd rather people liked me for qualities that I actually possess.

What annoys me about dogs is that they always run up and become intimate with newcomers, making me feel like every dog I see is out to attack me.

The thing with "fashion" and appearance is finding an appropriate middle ground. On one hand, judging a person based solely on what they look like is stupid, and people who do that are stupid. On the other hand, the way somebody looks can definitely tell you about their attitude. Basically, I don't think it's bad to care about your appearance so long as you don't obsess over it. Rarity is a good example of how to do it right. She does care about fashion and whatnot but there are two factors which (For me at least) make it palatable:

1. Her attitude seems to be that the point of fashion is to bring out the best in everyone by helping them find their style

2. She doesn't really look down on those who don't share her priorities. Yes, she does think of AJ as a bit "uncouth" but at the same time she respects her and recognizes that AJ just doesn't care about that type of thing as much.

Basically, she doesn't try to shoehorn everyone into what she believes is a proper mold; she tries to find their natural beauty and enhance it. She feels that what a pony wears is a reflection of themselves, so she wants to help them express themselves better through their clothing.

@ story: She was guilty of this. Every person she met when I was walking her was "MY NEW BEST FRIEND!!!"

Fortunately, I had her on a leash so she couldn't jump on them.
