I've heard even moe-hardened native Japanese fans still awwww over the series. This series is drenched in cute.

Alright, for my fic. I decided to

1. add a scene where Cadence!Chrysalis brainwashes The mane 6 sans Twilight. And make the brainwashing exceptionally cruel (Like unable-to-use-the-elements-of-harmony cruel), subtle (they don't notice they're being brainwashed). I'm thinking of Making Twilight seem like a Green-Eyed Monster in their brainwashed eyes.

2. Have Chrysalis brainwash Celestia off-screen (and likewise with to the same effect as the others.)

3. Have it be temporarily. (and in time to hear a "The Reason You Suck" Speech from the windigo adviser)

4. Have The windigos kidnap Celetsia after she get worfed by Chrysalis.

Thoughts? Also I'm deciding whether of not to have Shining Armor commit a Heroic Sacrifice or get captured by Chrysalis. any ideas.

@Story The reason for the shining armor thing are some Religious and Mythological Theme Naming issues. One of the future chapters will be called "Pollux Reversal" Due to Pollus being someone born mortal who became a god some time later. sound familiar? However he had a brother: Castor, who stayed mortal (They were twin half brothers, and Zeus was Pollux's dad) and died. Hence the shining armor thing.

The points above are because Posey didn't like my adding scenes to the show into this fic, so I decided to make the scenes marginally different (For Want of a Nail, Perspective Flip or Adaptation Expansion) Also I want to have some extra angst and a plausible reason why the Mane Six were acting like jerks to Twilight at the rehearsal (And why Chrysalis chose them to be her new bridesmaids).

I'll try not to. I already have a Pyrrhic Victory idea going for all sides. (The windigos have to kidnap the princes and retreat mean that they won't get to feast on Canterlot's now-expanded populace, the ponies win this round but Celestia's been kidnapped, the mane six blame themselves for letting both this and the CMC's Face Heel Turn happen, and with Celestia frozen Luna will have to charge of the Sun and the politics of Equetria. The Changelings just get blasted into the sky.)

By the way, does anyone understand Haskell's type system and how it differs from more traditional languages (C++, Java, Python, etc)? Every time I try to read about it, it ends up as incomprehensible category theory.
