I like Flutter X Mac simply because of the duality

They're both kind, soft-spoken ponies, where one derives strength from those around her, while the other brings his own sweat and blood to bear the fruit of his labors.

A match Celestia herself would make.

Who keeps shipping Twilight with Celestia? As far as I can tell, every other brony due to Twilight's nigh obsessive and perceived fangirlish devotion to her queen. Since I don't ship I don't care but I can see why people do it and say it makes great comedy as a result.

In fact I am amused by many alternate character interpretations/extrapolations.

@Ginger, last page: There is a difference between "technically legal" and "non-squicky". In this case, we are dealing with shipping Twilight with

her mother figure;
and someone who is ONE THOUSAND YEARS PLUS older than her.

I think the age difference would be less squicky if Twilight hadn't met Celestia as a filly. I have no problem with Twi X Luna, since they met when she was an adult, but hooking up with someone that much older you met as a child is a little weird.

Are they twins? I thought Celestia was older.

x5, Is Twilight a minor though? The general consensus is that the mane cast are approximately in their early 20s based on their maturity and position in life. If you were talking about one of the CMC I Would understand, but in this case, less so.

There is still the fact that Celestia is Twilight's teacher.

Celestia has a moral and ethican duty to her pupil. And sexual relationships just nullify that.
