Eh, I actually took that pic from a May 8 tweet from her account. Everyone flipped the hell out because they thought Faust took that /mlp/ image and retweeted it.

Back when Fighting is Magic got C&D I was pretty bummed, since I was really looking forward to the game and those guys worked so hard on it. I actually kind of stopped paying attention to the fandom after that for a while.
But I've been checking up on them and things seem to be going really well now. They're still making a game, they've now got Lauren Faust on staff, and they've been donated the Skull Girls engine for free. I'm definitely re-interested now. The silhouettes of the characters they've shown seem to be various different kinds of 4 legged critters (one was clearly a lama) which ought to make this a really unique fighting game, and with Faust as character designer it ought to be cute as hell too.
This is probably super old news to everyone, but it made me feel a lot better.

Lauren tweeted a picture of the recently leaked Equestria Girls dolls, only saying "....". Her following tweets consisted of linking an article written by the writer Western Animation/Brave pertaining to the controversy surrounding Merida's redisign by Disney, a bunch of angry faces, a picture of herself as the Hulk, and tweets confirming she posted on /mlp/.

It seems to be the dolls specifically she takes issue with. Though given the complain seems to be with the idea that they must be generically pretty, the distaste may extend to EQG.

Honestly its hard to say, she's being kinda vague about it. She could just be really surprised and having a little fun with the fans. She's also been recently mad about Disney's redesign of the main character of Brave for the Disney Princess toyline.
