@Crimson: I figured someone on this thread would get a kick outta that picture. I really do hope we see more of her in S4.

Something I've wanted since Bridal Gossip and even more since Cutie Pox, is for Zecora to take on a mentor role to Applebloom. It would be cool to see an earth pony have access to a type of magic, even if it is potion based.

Y'know, since Twilight is the princess of magic/ friendship (or something— I see her as being in charge of further studying it), I'd like to see Twi as a traveling princess.

She and the rest of the M6 go across and beyond Equestria to study magic and friendship in other cultures. Then we could totally have the chance see Zecora and her homeland.

I'd be all over that.

i thought we had agreed on that whole Earth Pony/ Full-Contact Magic thing.

Reminds me of one EP I have for an RP. He's not very good at landing blows, but he's damn near unkillable. He's shrugged off stuff that would one-shot a unicorn no problem.

I want that. A big ep who is highly resistant to physical and magical attack and who is super strong.

We earth ponies tend to be a lot tougher than unicorns or pegasi. This is because our magic flows through our entire body, strengthening it and keeping it resilient. Of course, this is on average. Some ponies specialise in using their magic to toughen themselves up whereas others, like myself, aren't particularly fit. Pegasi and unicorns do have similar techniques and spells, but they are less efficient and tend to only be used by particular individuals.

EDIT: For similar reasons, earth ponies tend to be stronger than memebr of the other tribes. We are also capable of drawing strength and resilience from the earth, though we need to touch the ground to do so.

Back from my walk, and hello Star Swirl! -pulls out comb- I see we're discussing earth ponies. I would love to contribute, but I personally can't. (I'd say they're more down to earth, but Pinkie proves a big exception.)

Super strong he is, but, like I said, not much on the "landing the actual blows" department.

Thus he ends up being the party's tank. He's also a little too proud of the scars he gets. Which are a lot.
