Started a blog recently. Newest post is on digital piracy in the Fi M fandom as it relates to Gabe Newell's take on piracy, the Bronies doc "shutdown" a few months ago, and what that situation says about piracy in general. If that sounds interesting, check it out and let me know what you think.

At worst, they'll join the Alicorn Twilight haters. Noncanon is noncanon.
I only see this as a benefit to the fandom. At the very least this'll provide tons of fanfics and fanart. Plus they can always ignore if they don't.

For me, it's not really hostility toward the spinoff itself. I'm just tired of seeing people fight about it. That, and the "Twilight yelling" meme was only funny the first eight times or so.
On Equestria Girls itself, I have basically the same position I had on Twilicorn: I have no opinion on it until it actually airs.

There is, but Magister isn't in common use, despite beig technically correct.
