I don't want to import anything, but I honestly get annoyed by how everyone has already decided that EVERYTHING about Eq G is bad even though the trailer barely gave us anything solid about characterization or writing or humour or anything of substance at all. Y'know, the important stuff. And seriously guys, a 'cliched plot' is a complaint I can levy against MLP Prime as well too. Doesn't mean the writers can't rise above them.

Personally, I was on the fence about whether to see it in theatres (especially since I'll have to go on my own) or to wait for it to be released on DVD and the short glimpse from the trailer tipped me over to hitting the theatres. Totally gonna wear my crazy!Twi shirt out to it too.

I get it. I don't mind people who have reservations about it, but the over-the-top tone of everything just gets to me. Maybe it shouldn't, but I just don't have the patience for over-the-top I'm-quitting-the-fandom-fuck-everything rhetoric.

It may turn out to just be a cash grab, but I don't feel that the trailer gave us anything that lets us dismiss it to the garbage bin entirely. But seemingly everyone else (not you guys) has apparently decided that God is dead or something. I think I need to stop wondering what other people think.
