Ed, that makes you awesome. Which jazz musicians do you typically listen to?

I used to think hipster meant hippies.
They're actually related. The hipsters of the 40s gave rise to the beatniks of the 50s, who gave rise to the hippies of the 60s.
I wonder if there are any brony jazz musicians.

@Twilight - By the Princess, are you familiar with a movement called Operation Starfall?

Heavens... everypony seems to be coming... such a shame I'm feeling awfully fatigued as of late, and am not able to keep mysel awake.
Anyways, hitting the hay everypony! Good night! Who knows? I might dream of some ponies!

Does Acid Jazz count?
Other than that, I mostly stay with the 40s and 50s groups. Can't beat the classics.

Two of my favorite jazz artists are George Shearing and Bix Biederbeck.

Duke Ellington is my favorite jazz man by far.
Others I like include Louis Armstrong, Count Basie, Buddy Rich, Dizzy Gillespie, Tito Puente, Generoso Jimenez, Stan Getz, Astrud Gilberto, Django Reinhardt, Cannonball Adderley, John McLaughlin, Al di Meola, Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk, Charles Mingus, and Herbie Hancock. For modern stuff, Jaga Jazzist, Wynton Marsalis, and Hot Club of Detroit are all great.

Okay so he's lurking now. bit to afraid to say hi or something, pinkie, need your help, reach threw his monitor and get him to make his first post. He'll get a bit annoyed if I just reach over and hit him till he does it.

I don't really have a favourite jazz artist. I like anything with horns and strong beats, not so much the smooth stuff. So, something like the Cowboy Bebop theme and the soundtrack of De Blob.
As for jazz bronies, there was that one guy who did the Russian jazz remix of Pinkie's Brew.
