Way back when in the topic about languages, I had the idea to translate the main theme into Quenya after considering what a dub of it might sound like. It's a completely pointless activity and I wasted a few hours on this thing, but I finally finished it. It's more than likely rough in spots, but speakers should at least get the jist of it.

Tyenya titta olompo,
Tyenya titta olompo,
Ai Ai Ai
Nyë elmendë mana nilmë naecë?
Tennatye hyandanyë sina †ingolnë óni.
Hoa raxë lendai,
úvë i alassë.
Vanya fëa,
voronda nar tulca.
Hyandauva, aseaië,
Nas mótalë carda,
Nar †ingolë ilya.

Nai nyëhanya? tyet alli #meldër.

And here's the literal translation:

My little pony,
My little pony,
I used to imagine what friendship might be?
Before you all came and showed this magic to me.
Exciting journeys,
bursting with joy.
A shining spirit,
steadfast and brave.
Sharing compassion,
no difficult feat.
And magic completes it all.
And did you all know? You're my cherished sisters.

OK, so Quenya's ambiguousness can make for some interesting back translation, but it's the closest I could get with the lyrics being so open to interpretation which Quenya doesn't express very well.

Anyway, there goes another wasted chunk of my life to ponies.

Yeah, but the translation's not that stellar. Not that I'm the biggest expert, but there's a good few errors. Plus I much prefer Quenya, it just sounds much nicer on the ears.

@Sereg I think they don't. You can see by some faces Cheerilee face in that episode that she is tired of people, friend or family, asking them about a boyfriend and maybe over and over. Maybe she's gay. Maybe just didn't find The One. Maybe both things.

The episode is funny because of the kids knowing so little about adult world.
