Whoof else think this episode is season 2 "Look Before You Sleep"?

In that it's a great episode that some fans dismiss at first viewing because it isn't as flashy or flamboyant as others in the season? I can buy that.

I don't even particularly like Rarity and thought this one rocked. And maybe it's because I'm a sucker for character-driven narrative, but the fireworks between Rarity and Sweetie Belle and Applejack's advice made the episode for me.

I just realized how much work Tabitha St Germain's been getting these past few weeks.' I mean not even including how dramatic overly-dramatic Rarity's been lately, but Luna, Zecora, granny Smith's appearances have increased. I don't know how much they're paying her but isn't enough.

I understood everypony just fine, but then I've always been able to understand people that no one else quite gets. For the longest time while my sister was learning to talk my mom kept having to call me over to translate what my sis was trying to say.

Announcing the event would have been a major undertaking for a character whose vocabulary is usually limited to "Ee-yup." I'm still surprised that he got some actual lines at the beginning of "Applebuck Season."

You know I honestly expected Applejack to burst into song when she was talking about sisters being like apple pie. There's even a banjo that suddenly appears in the background all geared up for it.

Somepony should write that song.

I also came across this video, which has the absolute funniest comment for it.
