I really don't see the fuss about Rainity. I'm missing something important me thinks. *looks again*
...Oh...
Brain, why did you take that long? You on coffee break or something?

God, and I thought Twilight's bedroom eyes would be a problem, I don't even like Rarity.
New topic: GENETICS! OR something, I'm just really fascinated by Rartiy's parents, not only knowing that they exist but by how different they are from her. Not even a similar eye-shape, which means she probably got that from a grandparents. The white coat is easily communicable, as is with the purple hair, it only makes me curious about Sweetie Belle's mane and tail.

Rarity's parents appear to be from Fillydelphia. They have the accent.

Cutie Mark Chronicles for having a boring premise and giving the mane six an implausible "we were connected before we even met" backstory, and for most of the filly versions not being as cute as expected.
I wondered if I was the only one who found it a little grating that Rainbow Dash's Sonic Rainboom went from being just a highlight of her performance in episode 16 to being the most earth-shatteringly important thing ever.

Our character sheet entry claims that the Rarents' accents are "the upper midwest or Wisconsin". I saw Ponibooru uploaders describe Rarimom's accent as "New York Jewish".
If there's someone here with actual expertese in Yank accents, please share your insight.

The lady at 1:44 sounds just like Rarity's mom.

Does anybrony else have trouble understanding some of the dialogue on first viewing, or is it just me? I find it's an ongoing problem.

Okay. That works for me.
Raridad didn't speak quite enough for me to make any judgements, but did anyone else think he pronounced Rarity's name funny?
—
I couldn't understand any of Granny Smith's dialogue, and some of Sweetie Belle's script also slipped past me due to her slurred pronounciation.
Just once I want to hear someone pronounce it "RAWR-TAH".

@ Someone. I sort of get the impression that Rariy's mom is kind of middle-aged but doing everythin in her power to look as young as possible, sort of a vinity thing. Which Rarity seems to have inherited.

Actually, I found Granny pretty coherent.
I understood most of what she said on first listen. Usually, I find that the higher-pitched the voice, the harder it is to understand. Pinkie gives me fits.

Nayuki, the animator that posts over on All Spark Forums, spoke on the Lyra/Heartstrings◊ issue. Apparently she's still nameless, officially, on the "cartoon side of things". Or "Incidental Unicorn #2" (who's number one? Colgate?)
Also, I sense people will now call Lyra "Fred"

Crap, I just noticed.
"This afteroon? As in; This afternoon this afternoon?"
Compare that to
"Is that this week? As in; Starting this very instant this week?"
Wanna bet this will show up one more time before the season's over?
Also, Rarity's mom looks funny sitting like that. Your butt is barely even on the chair lady!

Goddamn... this many pages within the afternoon?
Wow, these Bronies.
So, we can expect Celestia Notes from the other manes as well, right?
And it is kind of pointless to have all the mane 6 appear in an episode if they're not going to serve a role.
I don't konw what to think, anymore.
