@Irsh Zombie: I've never believed any alicorns are immortal anyway. However, I do want the other five to ascend as well now, and this looks promising. What she's saying though with those words is that Twilight won't be the last of her friends to die. Oh well. No big deal.

I think so, but that isn't actually required for what Mc Carthy said to be true.

I actually considerd Cadance to be a demi-alicorn when we first saw A Canterlot Wedding, assuming that she had only one alicorn parent while the royal sisters had two. Of course, we then found out that Cadance wasn't born an alicorn and I thouht, "Aw man, my fic is totaly way more AU than I wanted now!" then I thought, "Hey! I can use this! Ascended alicorns are still considered demi-alicorns! There! Plot-hole fixed!"

What is a demialicorn? Haf an alicorn?

In between a full-alicorn and a normal pony. In the case of my fanverse, demi-alicorns have the powers of all three tribes at far greater than average ability, age ten times slower than odenary ponies, are resistant to hunger, thirst, fatigue and suffocation are generally hard to kill and get the abilities associated with their seat on the Cosmic Council. Full alicorns get all that at about ten times the potency.

Though som fans have used demi-alicorn to mean hybrid of two rather than three tibes.
