We write back and forth on occasion. Lately we've been a bit busy to talk much, but I don't know very many other ponies with an interest in fine literature, so I try to keep in touch.

Yeah, there's been a lot of those fanfics popping up lately... Well, I can only count four right now (Faith and Doubt, Bitterness, Post Nuptials and its sequel, and lastly A Canterlot Wedding: Aftermath). I've made a group on Fimfiction to collect these fanfics, since its starting to seem like one of those genres, where the story is the same, but with different circumstances.

-shrugs- Ah well Twilight... if you need someone who is interested in literature, I could sit in. As for the crushy feeling... -blushes, hiding his face-

@NES: I appreciate it, but I'm quite sure human literature and Equestrian literature are quite different. That and it's hard enough to find the time to read, let alone discuss it.

Psyga: Don't misunderstand me, I actually like the Nupitals series. It actually keeps everypony (mostly) in character, and rather than exclusively take Twilight's side, it acknowledges that Twilight herself wasn't exactly helping her case and that the whole incident was more or less an "everyone's at fault in a way" scenario.

My problem is that aside from Nupitals, pretty much every other fic of this nature, Bitterness included, take Twilight's side so hard that they turn the rest of the cast into strawmen and completely overexaggerate what happened in order to make the cast look worse.

@Some New Guy: This is why I usually refuse to touch stories like those- they leave a bad taste. And Bitterness in particular made Twilight seem like such a petty bitch.
