Yeah.

My favourite part of her character was definitely the darkness I saw in her. She honestly seemed like she would've turned evil again (or at least have another Start of Darkness) were it not for the mane cast

Again, I remind you all about Daisy. You know, one of the "The Horror the Horror!" ponies? One of the few background ponies to actually have a name in the show.. and her corresponding toy name is "Flower Wishes".

What I'm saying is the toys (as well as anything else outside of the show) are not hard canon for the show. If that were true, than Daisy would be Flower Wishes, Applejack owns a truck, Magneto is a pony now, and the Mane Six wear steampunk outfits. That last one would be pretty awesome, but alas that's only from the t-shirts.

People still can't get over those toys?

Those toys are recolour of some MLPFIM character with colours of backgroud pony. That even hapen in show, see Big Mac recolour from s1 intro (and from begining of Lesson Zero), who have colours of one backgroud pony (who I never call Caramel).

They are like the others. Strange, hideous, resisting, fighting. Only these were not like the others. They did not die.

Steampunk toy ponies would be so awesome.

On another note, go back to Applebuck Season. Skip to the aftermath of the bunny stampede. Pay particular attention to the voices of the three flower ponies. Notice anything odd?

But apart, all we are is just a pile of mush and some crumbly dry mess...

Is it possible to Bitch or Pimp Slap ponies in Equestria? Cuz from the looks of things you'd always end up looking like you're PUNCHING them (hooves and all)

What's the pony equivalent?

One of them is clearly voiced by Tara Strong

The thing about The Merch (and the Expanded Universe) is, even though it isn't canon, it's still official, so it's the closest thing we've got to canon until the show confirms or disproves it (I guess you could call it "Schrödinger's Canon").

On a serious note, I'm honestly starting to think ponies don't reproduce. They also don't use the bathroom—everything they eat is used by their bodies and nothing becomes waste.

Well, there's Raindrop, Derpy's Palette Swap. She has fans... in fact I think her popularity boosted a little bit due to her awesome viking outfit in Luna Eclipsed. Seriously. A Pony Viking.

I know, but I dislike it when people over react to the notion that being tomboyish equals lesbian by saying that tomboys CAN'T be lesbians even more

It'll never be adressed (as in, even if they go out with boys, there's still the possibility that they like girls on the side) so I guess it's pointless to argue

Yeah, the official stance is that they do reproduce by "the typical means" or whatever phrase it was that she used.

But anyway, I'm with the "just going to assume no orientation until we actually get some evidence" crowd. I'm not sure why people are complaining about it, because it just means that we can interpret it however we want. There's no one interpretation with a better basis than any other.
