He's just a jerk from Soul Eater. He's known for being loud, arrogant, and obnoxious. RD reminds me of a MUCH more likeable verion of him.

I just can't see how she wouldn't be loud enough to draw the wonderbolt's attention

What do think pony military figures would be called?

A "General Ironside" appeared in Monster Mash (AKA Best Fanfic Ever).

I demand that this name be fanonised, because it's a shout-out to Michael Ironside, who has played an army officer in like fifty movies.

^There were only ever three Shadowbolts, and they were all the same pony because they were all Nightmare Moon.

Fanon can establish One Steve Limit if it's a basis piece of fanon (a widely accepted piece; one that was created so early on that almost all fans know it), but a profile drawing of characters who don't even exist doesn't get to claim such a common name as Nightshade.

In my opinion, anyway.

I hate that trope.

Why can't there be more than one pony with the same name? how does naming work in this world. I there a registry of names that you have to look through in order to make sure that nopony else has the same name?

One Steve Limit isn't necessary. There should be means of identifying who you're talking about though.

Considered it. Decided that staying completely canon had more weight.

Also, is 'Big' a nickname?

I've always felt Mac's real name was Macintosh Apple. Just like Applejack Apple, Applebloom Apple and Edith Smith Apple (thanks for that one Red).
