@Sereg: Well, obviously you can assume minor stuff within reason; i.e. the thing called a cake looks like a cake, and is treated exactly like a cake would be. My point is that we can't extrapolate stuff like physics from Real World information because it's obvious that in Equestria it doesn't work the same way.
And
my point is that the only disgreement we're having is what's "within reason" and how obvous it is that things don't ork that way in Equestria.
As for the other argument, yeah, it was a bit confusing. My point is that as I understand it, your argument about Celestia being super-powered relies on the assumption that the Equestrian sun is the same as our own, which I don't see any basis for.

I understand by "sun" when they say "sun" just like e're assuming that it's
our understanding of "cake" when they say "cake" because I wouldn't call a big ball of fire a "sun". Not to mention that I can't think of a size small enough that
wouldn't require Celestia to be ridiculously strong and fast. She'd have to be faster than sound
even if the sun was rolling along the ground.
