Psychonauts update.

Wow, Meat Circus is freaking ridiculous. I thought it would get better after the escort mission, but after beating Cleaver Boy it just gets worse! The next area may as well be called Camera Screw: The Level. I don't even know how many times I've fallen due to the camera switching angles mid jump. And one time the camera got stuck inside a solid object and refused to budge! And in between that, it's liberally mixed with Luck-Based Mission and Guide Dang It. I don't think it's actually possible to dodge The second time he throws fire at you, so you just have to tank it, except you loe health on each attempt. And after that, I have no idea what to even do. Any ideas? There are a much of screens arranged in a semicircle around Dad's floating platform. I tried jumping from thefirst screen to the next, but it doesn't appear to be possible. And I tried getting on top of the little ledge on top of the screen, but not only is it really hard, it doesn't look like you're even supposed to do that, since the powers randomly don't work sometimes, and jumping onto Dad's platform bounces you into who knows what.

Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.

From the talk about fanfics and Apple's comic, I'm actually a bit encouraged to try mine. I don't know what I'll do with my character yet, but I know there's a lot of possibilities and I'm going to make it my goal to publish at least one chapter on Fimfiction before the end of April. I'll do my best to uphold that.

Be sure to also post about it in the pony fanfiction thread

for more feedback. There’s some folks there who don’t post here very much.

I do wonder how popular FIM will get over in Japan, If at all... On the one hand it does seem like the style of show that is generally enjoyed over there, but on the other hand western stuff always seem to struggle to gain much of a following over there.
