Funnily enough, I've met quite a few who say the exact opposite, that horses are usually harmless while ponies will kneecap you at the slightest provocation. Must be related to small dog syndrome, I guess.

My school has a pony for a mascot, and he is one feisty little guy. I think he's the only mascot ever to kill another.

Be careful when using insulting taunts. It's often safer to use a courage-draining taunt instead.

I don't know about that, but his handlers do have some funny stories. Why, just this year, while running onto the field before a game, one of the handlers tripped and got dragged along the length of the field!

The goat wandered too close to him before the game, and got kicked in the head. Death was instant.

I don't think even a Terran pony would be dumb enough to attack the ones who feed them. Cats will notoriously put up with a lot of demeaning treatment if you let them eat what they like (like wearing tacky shirts).

I dunno, equines are among the few animals that'll jump off a cliff because they got "spooked", so I imagine trying to wail on a human despite him carrying food can't be that far off.
