Seeing the stained glass on the bingo reminded me of something else I noticed about the season premiere. Celestia's stained glass windows updated themselves as soon as the mane 6 rushed back from beating Sombra. I guess she's using her magic to change them instantly, but this proves they weren't hoof crafted.

So I thought I'd show the progression of my work:
Here's some early Aerobat◊, and another pony concept◊, all pre-shading era. Then there's the silly comic◊. These were imo, awful, and a big cause of stress to me. I thought I was wrong to try drawing.
Then I learned shading, and things◊ started◊ to◊ get better.
Now here's where I am◊. That reintroduces drop shadows, first tried out here◊.
How's the progress looking? Any comments?
