I thought the Hanged Man was about acceptance, passivity, and letting what will happen happen.

Hey, Welcome back Crowlover!
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
Yes... that could work.
I wonder what would fit Justice.
Temperance, I was actually thinking of the Heart of Fire, from Hearth's Warming Eve. Either the blaze itself, or the ponies gathering together just before it appears. It nicely goes with the "unification of opposites" part of it.

Well, yes. There certainly is a strong association with sacrifice for enlightenment in it. There's a good reason why it is often described as finding a new perspective. However, a lot of the time, I've seen it described as sort of letting go and letting things happen. A sort of confidence that things will turn out right. The hanged man
looks like a martyr at first glance, but the imagery shows us that he is there of is own choice.

The only thing I know about Tarrot is that you don't have to know it. The only skill required to read people's fortunes is BS. Making up meanings for the symbols on the spot is perfectly fine.

Sacrifice, enlightenment, a new perspective, but also acceptance and passivity.
those are the two most major meanings I've seen for that card. And they're not exclusive.

:(
I mean, yeah, I don't exactly use the cards to do readings (though it might be fun to learn), bu I am fascinated by the meanings associated with them.

Well, if the figure has chosen to be in that position, then it could fit both sacrifice and acceptance.
Still tempted to use Pinkie for that slot. Didn't really think too much that she represented the Wheel of Fortune too well. Though I still don't really know who or what would.
edit: oh, and the deck can be used to play French Tarot, an interesting-looking game (which was its original use)

About just under 8 hours from now.
Crap, there'd be people walking about that time.

Huh. Weird; it was rerouting me to some random place that was most definitely not DA earlier. BRB checking my DNS.
@Meta: I should be able to do that :V
@Meta: What an intriguing array of British accents.
Won't be online for a while due to the holidays. Stay safe, happy and warm!
