I did know a fellow in high school who sold pop and gum and other such munchies out of his locker. Which is actually a pretty solid money-making plan for a kid, honestly.

I've also heard stories of people turning their lockers into banned book libraries.

That reminds me, I might be reading a three chapter fanfic tonight that I know I'm going to hate. A friend of mine told me about it and also told me some troublesum details that I won't share with you guys unless someone is really curious. Why am I going to read such a piece of crap? Because I feel like torturing myself a little bit with shitty fanfics. Yay me.

At least he told me of a good Twipie fic to read. Depending on how bad the previous fic is, the Twipie one might actualy be a good source of Brain bleach.

The school has vending machines, but in my fourth year they removed the carbonated ones and closed the tuck shop too, to fight childhood obesity. So we saw an opportunity to make money, as kids will still pay 50p for a tin of Pepsi that's warm. Friend's dad had a business card which allowed us to buy from a wholesalers. They sold 24 packs of Pepsi for a fiver. Selling them at 50p each, we made £12 a pack...and we each got through two a day. So the message is clear:

Prohabition dosn't work!

Makes sense, actually. I know in my highschool they replaced all of the pop with diet pop for the same reason... despite the fact that water was still a buck more expensive than the pop, which would have actually made a difference. Instead it just resulted in people drinking shitty-tasting pop instead.

Still, damn clever idea, that.
