I'd be an earth pony. Most unicorns can't do much more than schlep stuff with their minds, and heights terrify me.

Finances. You can do it passably without calculus, but it makes things so much easier.

Twilight's probably all about math. Rainbow Dash would view it as even more eggheaded than reading. Applejack we know isn't great at it. Rarity is probably decent, as she has to handle the Boutique's finances as well as constantly measure material, although she probably doesn't go into the more advances stuff. Pinkie and Fluttershy could go either way. There's precedent for both of them inexplicably knowing random skills.
