I don't think Dash would make a very good captain.
On the other hand, her loyalty would make her an excellent
Lancer.

Why not? She did alright with the waterspout challenge.

Regarding AJ aesops, a "sometimes lying is good" lesson could be pulled off, I think.

Exactly my thoughts.
That would veer into Family-Unfriendly Aesop territory really fast.
Obviously they'd need to be careful but AJ lying to keep someone happy would be interesting, I think.

Oh,
that kind of captain.
There's always room for more character growth, I suppose?

Come one, abuses of power lesson. They don't have to be like, really bad abuses.
You keep that bookstore open!!!
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
Or a lesson that sometimes, the best way to help someone, is to simply do nothing. That if you try to solve all their problems, they'll never learn to do it themselves.
Does anyone here think that Gilda might return at somepoint, be it in the comics or in Season 4? We've allready had tons of popular antagonist's showing up again in the show and in the comics recently {Discord, Trixie and Chrysalis}. Not to mention how I'm curious to see what the writers would do with her if she did make another appearence.
I think that's a safe bet.
On the other hand, her loyalty would make her an excellent Lancer.
But Lancers are useless! Noone uses TSS, and their high cost (especially in QP) makes them unattractive as early game scouts. Plus they're too weak to win battles.

And this other pony could be a perfect foil to RD. More of a Chuck Yeager type...stoical and calm and collected and focused.
Tealove is best pony.

I'd say that's more creepy than cutesy.

L.S.D., huh? How appropriate.
