You could try making Batty's muzzle/jawline a little shorter, and see how it looks to you.

Edit: Looking at it again, the problem seems to be more the top of his head. It's what makes his head look elongated.

Well, you've clearly got the right idea - the sharp, broad jawline - I think the trick is just the perspective, maybe? I tend to go for the same sort of thing, and this◊ is my result. I also use a convex muzzle as a default for ponies that are supposed to bigger, fuller, more masculine, etc. Really, all you can do is what you have done - broad chin, sharp edges...

Actually, for an interesting point of comparison, here's Bruce Willis◊, and his daughter◊. Notice how they have the same jawline, but it looks better on him(Tastes notwithstanding)? It's the fullness of it, the way it sort of flares out, that makes it looks extremely masculine.

I look at those and all I can think is "The Willis family all have heads shaped like eggs".

Wow, why is it so hard to find somebody who can sing This Day Aria? None of the foriegn language versions are any good. Even the original isn't quite what I would like from someone singing a song like that.

Well, in that case I'd say it's better to keep trying for those dreads and keep failing, rather than practicing something you don't want.

Wow, My Little Pony: Camaraderie is Supernatural actually did a new episode since I last checked. And the lesson of the episode is one that could actually show up in FIM itself.

I know they're not very popular, but can anyone recommend any purely text pony blogs? The one for Rarity is pretty good and I'm impressed how in character it is.
