The new pony will be Toola-Roola or Minty, because they're the only two out of the core 7 from the previous gen to have not been remade for this one yet.

I actually looked to see if Twi had gained a sixth star on her cutie mark, since I saw the extra star on the Great Cutie Mark in the Sky, but I only ever saw the same five stars in the scenes I freeze-framed.

It's not easy to tell the number of stars on her cutie mark in the scenes following her ascension, but that's mostly due to her wings blocking one of the stars.

I'd love to see a g4 Minty, she's just brilliant. Yet another role Tabitha's done for this franchise. Bonus points if she ends up voicing her. Which would make an original recording of Twilight, Rarity, and Minty a three-way talking to herself.

Tabitha actually declined to audition for G4 Pinkie Pie cause she thought she would just be an Expy of Minty (the same goes for Fluttershy, she thought she was too similar to Wysteria).

Not that she's ashamed of her G3 roles, but she strikes me as someone who makes an effort to avoid Type Casting. Then again, she seems to have a knack for clumsy characters

That last episode had some pretty moments. Disappointed they didn't lift Twilight by the cuff of her neck and hold her up iin front of everyone below during her coronation, but whatever.

Also, surely that extra star or whatever was just another symptom of Twilight's level up or whatever.

Stars or not, I do like the idea of Twilight taking on an apprentice. Might be a nice way to start off Season 4.
