Actually, I do remember when the synopsis for "Return of Harmony" was revealed, some folks pointed out that someone on 4chan really did leak that the Season 2 villain was named Discord and everyone just ignored it cause its 4chan. The post wasn't a fully detailed thing, more like just an outline for the first part.
Discord's name really was genuinely leaked on 4chan...and no one cared or seemed to noticed. It was kinda funny.
People knew well in advance that the villian would be named Discord. But we didn't know he was a Draconequis until the preview clips were released. Most people assumed he was a pony.
We also knew that he was imprisioned in stone, but not that that meant a statue.

As far as manes are concerned, I think Applejack has the best, both her mane and tail. I like that kind of style.
