@Red. The theory comes from a guy on 4chan who said he was interning at an audio editing place. Someone found out he liked Fi M, so they showed him some voice clips. The clips were of de Lancie talking about how he used to be a pony, how he found it flattering that Twilight dressed up as him, and other things like that. A similar thing happened long before season 2 started, where someone described the plot of the premiere in detail, so people got excited about it.

There was a similar "I know a guy!" anon post on 4chan claiming they heard some of John de Lancie's lines for an unspecified episode (this was before "Keep Calm and Flutter On" was announced), which honestly would have been a great twist if they did it right - Broken Pedestal of epic proportions and all. People starting connecting dots where there were no dots (I remember seeing someone point out that there are stars on Discord's Pass the Popcorn couch in "Return of Harmony Part 2". Really), but "Keep Calm" came, nothing Star Swirl related happened, and Meghan outright Jossed it to make sure.

I want to see Wildfire in the show again. I know all about the "almost" appearance in Wonderbolts Academy.

I thought she did appear in some frames? Or did they manage to take her out completely?

There were a few quick frames they didn't recolor, and they missed her CM on the list.

But from what Sibsy said, Hasbro put the kibash on people adding their OC's after someone went and fucked things up for everyone.

There needs to be an episode about Pinkie helping out the Apples on the farm, with exposition on Earth Pony magic.

One of the recruits in Wonderbolt Academy was going to be Wildfire, but got recolored at the last moment after someone fucked up and made Hasbro freak out over having people's OC's put in the show.

Allegedly, animators were sneaking their OCs in without permission and someone found out. Wildfire got approval because Sibsy actually went to her boss to ask about it.

Funny thing is someone's OC did make it into the episode, the black and gold one that fly's through hoops when Rainbow Dash arrives. She's the OC of the daughter of the art director (Sibsy's direct boss, I think), so I guess they allowed that one...
