That's literally no pony. tongue

It's just a stand for me to see how my art looks at the moment. I'm not really happy myself.

I definitely recommend some Still Life practice, always helps get your shapes together better.

Post of the Day #278

I agree about helmet thing. It's always annoying to see armies with some full body armor with heroes/commanders/officers not wear helmets (I'm looking at you WH40K). It's not only not cool but also stupid.

I always loved when character or mooks covers their faces.

man, this scheduled Derpibooru downtime is killing me!

It's a good thing I have a big, special edition fanfic report to occupy myself with...

That's one thing about 40k that bugs me. That and the general 'unrealistic porportions' of the vehicles.

Okay, so I'm making up a Marty Stu OC in my head to amuse myself.

Pet cockroach. Yay or nay?

Unless you're in the Dn D verse, in which case armor is useless, let alone helmets.

Wall-E had a pet cockroach, or something like it.

@PD - I'd rather go with a giant cock. Mornings would be amusing.

Yeah, cockroach. I like the idea of a pony having a non-traditionally cute pet.

When you have a cock, though, don't keep it in the same place as a beaver. Things get nasty.

The cockroach in "Wall-E" was kinda cute. Resilient, too. Wall-E ran over it at one point, and it sprung right back into shape.

Don't cockroaches have some sort of resistance to being stepped on? Or am I thinking of something else?

Cockroaches are exaggeratedly hard to kill in cartoons. Comes from being resistant to radiation, or something - the idea that they could even survive the fallout from a nuclear bomb kind of bleeds into them being able to survive other things, too.

(They're not that resilient. I've killed cockroaches before.)

[up]the funny thing is, all arthropods are resistant to radiation, but for some reason only Cockroches get notability for it.

On the other hand, cockroaches are ridiculously resilient. If you cut off it's head, it will die several weeks later from starvation.

^Eh. I stepped on and then bisected a cockroach in my dorm room, and I'm pretty sure the bisection was overkill.

Roach is indeed resilient. To kill one, you would have to hit it with a mortar, shoot in the chest with a magnun, and set its body on fire.
