Hmm, I should add an entry to
MLP Dethroning Moment of Suck one of these days. That is, if whatever I want to say isn't already covered.
And this had to be a pagetopper.

It is in the nature of the spiteful to spread animosity.
Dethroning pages are not good for one's IQ.
I'm not Jesus Christ. I've come to accept that now.
Eh, not all of them are. In fact, I even agree with some of the points.
Besides, it's not as if my IQ can get lower than now. I'd be surprised? Well, I already read them at least few times (and in fact, it's one of my favorite pages in this site), so...

The problem with the dethroning pages is that they're supposed to be about moments that totally kill a series, but they end up being just petty bitching about things that someone found mildly annoying.

This, pretty much. The Dethroning pages read like the diary of an angsty teenager with no sense of perspective.

Meh, pages change. That's how it used to be for
Crowning Moment of Awesome-we now just use it as
Awesome Moment. It's just due for a name and definition change.
In fact, I am thinking of bringing this to the
Trope Repair Shop; change DMOS to just MOS, like what happened with CMOA. Unfortunately, there are currently 104 conversations going on, while the limit is 100 so I can't do anything about that.

It's also just an unpleasant place to be. I mean if someone wants to dislike a certain episode or scene that's fine, but having every minor complaint in one place like that just makes a self perpetuating hate factory.
And that's one of the things that makes the page so
fun.
To me, at any rate. I find it highly entertaining.
Besides, as long as it is not against the site's policy, you can just pretend the page doesn't exist.

Fair enough. I mean, I certainly like griping about certain things. But yeah, I tend to just avoid those pages. It's just a bit too much negativity for my tastes, especially about a show I generally like.
Yeah, just ignore them. It's not like they are all gems anyway. XD

I think that's what most people do.

Ain't I a stinker.

Well I wasn't going to mention it, but there has been a peculiar odor in the thread.
That's what happens when you don't clean the Thread House, you lazy punks.
Well excuse me. I wasn't aware abstract concepts were in such dire need of a can of febreze.
It smells like victory. Oops, wrong movie.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
I have an idea. How about we remove all the air? Then noone will be able to smell anything!
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
I foresee absolutely no problems with this course of action. Siphon away!
Of course I'm not
secretly GLaDOS.
