Oh hey, finally Fluttershy gets a moveset. I got to say, I don't care much for her theme music... I know Flutters is real sweet and all but that is not really fighting game music. I'd have gone with something more energetic. Something more like this. (ignore the dancing boy if you can).

Her moveset looks fine, lots of animal critters. I like how even though most of the time her facial expressions are terrified or worried, every now and then she shows a bit of that old Flutterrage.

I can't really figure out what sort of style she's using though. I would have thought her more of a zoner, but she seems to be an up-close-and-personal fighter.

Fluttershy's moveset has Dizzy/Nakoruru vibes.

I posted the Fluttershy Fighting video before it was cool

Well, Orion, if you'd attend her class you'd know she's in the process of teaching about changelings!

She uses summons as persistent traps to create openings and extend combos. It's about halfway between the likes of Z.W.E.I. in Soul Calibur V and Solid Snake in Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

Critter posse. Just as expected.

Were those porcupines or hedgehogs?

@Lurker: I guess it's just kind of hard to see them as traps since they were only shown as part of combos in the video. If they'd shown a bit of actual combat it would have been more clear.

@Blue You clearly see that the animals stick around after being summoned and that Fluttershy is free to act while they're out. That makes them traps by definition.

Is the Stampede a super? Because she used it an awful lot in the video.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.

I dunno, does Fighting have EX attacks SF Alpha style?

The white background pretty clearly designates it as a super, and those make great combo enders, hence its frequent use.

It might be overkill to have that many Super charges, unless the truly powerful Super Arts or Super Desperations need more conditions and setup and/or multiple charges.

That's because they're specifically showing off some of her best combos, when tend to involve supers.

Also, I thought Angel would be more involved in the moveset.

Also, why is Cherilee so dishelved and a chalk addict in the tumblr?

@Ace What do you mean? The characters get 3 meters for supers, and they build in a manner almost identical to the Marvel vs. Capcom games.

@Story They've stated from the beginning that Angel performs all of her Heavy attacks (aka 1/3 of her normal moves).

Guys, the video is showing various combos with the Magic Meter refilled between each combo. She's not actually going to be able to spam supers.

[up] Yep, for Fluttershy, go check it out.

If they made a demo of an actual fight using Fluttershy, you'd expect the other character would at least get a few hits in.

Me. In fact, I get a great kick out of seeing her getting hurt. Comedically, that is.

@Kyler It's a demo video of a single character's capabilities, not a demo of a real match. It's pretty common practice for fighting game trailers. Like so:
