What was it? I noticed Cheerilee and Big Mac walking together and Screwball (Screwloose?) being visited by a nurse, and Carrot Top nuzzling that stallion she's always with. A lot of stuff happening in the background this episode.

Joking or not, there's no way this show will last to season 5. I'd say season 4 will very likely be the last one. And we should be lucky for that, this is the longest running animated production in terms of quantity in the franchise.

Oh and about the auto blocking of youtube vids, someone did some digging, and it might not even BE Hasbro doing it, but Google itself. Right around that time was when they announced that they were working to get their episodes for sale in the google play store as well, and they own youtube as well. And someone found a youtube channel, owned by you tube/google that has all the season 1-2 eps available, for a fee.
So it might just be Google doing it on their own to drive up Google play episode sales.

But why would they end the show so soon, unless they just didn't have anymore material? Last I knew of, the ratings were still fantastic, and the merchandise only continues to multiply. The second you stop airing new material, interest in the merchandise begins to fade. Unless the plan would be to move to a spin-off, a movie, or some other form.

I's been all but officaly confirmed that ther is at least a season 4
First the financial documents proving DHX has been paid for it.
Then the way the, annoucemnet, was made by Megan, making cler that this is something they intend to explore, which would require more episodes
Plus a snippet from a recent interview with MA Larson on Celestia Radio, where he mentions that something brought up was something he'd like to see dealt with ina future episode. (Said snippet being from a few weeks ago.)

unless they do something so so SO stupid that it crashes and burns, yeah not seeing it.
That said, I still hold, at this point, the fandom is sefl sustaining for a good long while. We make so much art, music, videos, just pure content, it's enough to keep us going for a VERY long time

With very few exceptions, children's cartoons rarely last beyond two seasons, regardless of ratings. The fact that we're even looking at four is a miracle.
