Yeah, I'm thinking I pretty much know what these spoilers are now. Still, couldn't hurt to avoid them on the off-chance I'm wrong. That'd be a neat surprised.

That said, if it is what I think it is, I can't ultimately bring myself to be too concerned. They could pull off Discord redemption, I'm sure they can do this well. People precious fanon might be shattered but whatever, it's not like thy ever outright said how it works anyhow.

The finale starts next week, right? We're on episode 11 of 13 this saturday?

Yeah the Peewee pictures tell a story. Spike hatched him, raised him for awhile, then returned him to his parents or to another group of Phoenixes.

I prefer Spike when he's being an ass.

I'm okay with being a sometimes-ass. It's a kids' show, it's gonna happen. This is almost Dan Vs. levels of ass.

Especially in "A Friend in Deed". Lots of ass in that one, both metaphorically and literally.

Winona seems to know how to have a good time. Find giant jet turbine, sit under it, have good time.

Aaaand Zecora just bilked him on behalf of the Filly Scouts. I mean, it's a nice call to Spike's hoarding instincts (which really do explain a lot), but...dude o_0

Plan C: Katamari. This looks like a promising one.

@JT - It was the most assinine episode in season 2.

That was my favorite moment in this episode.

Okay, in Spike's defense, the train guy needs to be fired. Spike outright told him why he needed to get on the train, and it was pretty clearly not a "take off with you still on it" deal.

I was a bit underwhelmed by the Pets episode. We had discussed wanting something like that somewhere in this monster of a thread.

Highlights were the worlds slowest lick, the nonchalant nuzzle that RD gives tank, and Winona under the pet dryer.

This episode brought up questions about the currency of the region. A tiny little gem can buy a giant pet dryer... but a much larger gem is required for train tickets for a dragon and 3 fillies? How does that convert to bits?

Typing is hard with a finger splint...

That face reminds me of The Joker.

Eh. The episode was okay other than its protagonist, but he's definitely coming off like Season 2 Dash. The good news is if he follows that pattern he'll actually be awesome next season.

And yes, Tank and Dash stole just about every scene they were in.

Is this episode supposed to be concurrent with the next one? That's pretty ballsy for a Saturday morning cartoon. Like, they did it in a way that you don't really have to know what's going on in the other one to understand either, but typically kids' network execs will shit themselves at the mere prospect of continuity.

Gems can have different values. And that tiny one was from Rarity who know stuff about gems and is Generously Element.

It is, yes. And, yeah, it is pretty ballsy, though not unprecedented. And it's definitely something to be admired.
