I don't know either, but it must be the same reason people go out of their way simply to find materials related to the movies shown on MST3K or the reason people still analyze the later seasons of Family Guy.

I still think PPG is more gender-neutral. For one thing, there's definitely a lot more violent imagery in PPG, as well as less subtly attacking social and political issues such as the banned episode which is basically a whole Capitalism vs Communist episode. On the other hand, think about it this way, I could have been someone who never watched the show and only made the lousiest blind assumptions.

1. Honestly, I think the Powerpuff Girls and the current incarnation of MLP are pretty much on an even level as far as the girliness goes. PPG might be a bit less just because the cast is human rather than pony, and because it skews a bit older, but there really isn't that great of a difference.

2. Here's my response to people going out of their way to watch something they hate so they can complain about it more:

I've been wondering where Fallen Legend has wandered off to. He hasn't posted on TV Tropes at all since January 9th. I hope he's just busy with school work or something.

He's probably busy in his final stretch of college. It can get hectic.

Haven't seen condottiera either. I liked her. She was fun.

Wow, if JJ ever writes an episode...that episode will probably be the biggest case of Getting Crap Past the Radar ever.

I'm always amused to find out that someone who's worked on the show like Andrea Libman, Sibsy, or even Lauren Faust meets John Joseco and either gets free art from him or they sign something for him. Tara Strong even uses his artwork as the background on her twitter

I wonder if they're aware that he likes to draw naked ladies.

@Calnos: Tara almost certainly is. Sibsy is pretty active on DA as well, so she probably knows too. Don't know about the rest of them.

And she's cool with it too by the looks of it.

Powerpuff Girls - I think I saw the movie, and maybe a few episodes, but I never got full on into the show. Now — Dragon Tales— love that, and it just so happened to have Andrea Libman as a lead character (Emmy) and it also happens to have Chantral Strand and Kathleen Barr.

The "Twilight's First Day" comic series is dangerously adorable.

I honestly don't see how pieces of art done by an artist in one style/on one subject invalidates or in any way affects the art done by said artist on another subject/in another style. People are acting like the artist's mere existence is something offensive, when it is merely some of his art that is/may be.

Given that the overall reaction of all the staff to bieng asked about R34 was mostly "So? Yeah you like it, who am I to judge? Just have fun. Though, can you stop bringing it up so much now please?"
