@Apple: Yeah, if I'm honest I've never really gotten the 'don't open the packaging' thing. Like, I can understand it for action figures and stuff because they can be displayed in the case, but for a model in order for it to be really displayed proudly, which something like this deserves to be, to my mind, then it needs to be assembled

Just... maybe wait until you're away from your family to do so. Just to be safe. Also don't mention it's worth a bit to them.

You're right. An unassembled model in a box is just a box.

If by some chance I get it, I'll open it and assemble it.

But...should I make it 'as is', or build it how I want it? Adding modern day parts to it and the like?

You missed me whining about a botched eBay deal.

Well, I've been on Tumblr for the last month or two, and I've noticed that the number of Bronies on there is surprisingly small compared to the other fandoms. A pony post would be considered sensational if it got 2, 000 notes (notifications of likes and reblogs), when Homestuck posts often get up to 10, 000 notes.

Therefor, I propose that we get more of our ranks onto Tumblr and become more prominent there (hopefully without causing disruption and drama with the other users), like the Avengers and Supernatural fandoms. Also, never liking something without reblogging it is a good thing to do, in my experience, as it spreads the post and makes way for more notes.

I'd suggest that anyone who has or makes a Tumblr account link it back here, so they can get follows. I'm trueinfinitycore.

Well there are or were tons of Pony tumblrs. I never tried to compare stats though.

@Gex I kinda have to wonder why anyone should care?

Gex, it's just personal opinion, probably not too educated, on my part, but I'd rather everyone in the fandom stay out of Tumblr. I find it is a complete hellhole and drama forge/brewery. But that's just me.

For some reason, putting on auto-captions and watching failed captions just doesn't do much to entertain me. Personally, I look forward to the day when accurate captions are more widely available.

There's a lot of old 40k models from the 80s/early 90s for sale on eBay. And they all cost a fortune.

Well, I have an ask blog there and it's not terribly drama-y. I keep to myself though mostly. Was thinking of making a mod blog but again, I probably wouldn't go a-roaming as far as those things go, just use it for announcements and such nonsense
