I would imagine AJ and Rarity are the most ruthless in Monopoly. Dashie would be overagressive with her bits and go bankrupt after running out of portable cash landing on somepony's hotels.

I'm assuming that the main one would be based on Canterlot.

Twilight would just solve it and play optimally.

The two biggies would be Canterlot, and Crystal Empire.

And someone did try to make a Magic the Gathering pony expansion, but Hasbro sent them a C&D. Though that was more for the Magic part then the Pony part.

Pinkie would be utterly random and end up winning. Fluttershy would be to nervous to ever ask to buy any houses or hotels.

I think I'll write a game of monopoly into my comic, and yes, there will be a fight. Maybe someone lands on a property with a hotel, and after angrily tossing all their cash at the owner, they ask them if they want their blood too.

And there could be lots of lamp shading of the oddities of the game.

Basically, fans took two background ponies and created personalities from whole cloth for them, then fell in love with those OC Stand Ins. In Derpy’s case, some of that fanon was actually canonized (such as her being a well-meaning klutz) while other aspects of fanon are being completely ignored by canon (the evidence for her being a mailmare, or for Dinky being her daughter, is scanty at best).

Me? I didn’t even notice those two ponies on my first watch-through of the series. And now I’m writing a fanfic about Derpy—because someone pointed Derpy’s weirder cameos out to me, and I got to wondering just how and why, for example, she wound up in Fluttershy’s chicken coop.

Unfortunately the Equestrian legal system doesn't really account for the whole 'go to jail' thing.
