You know, learning about church theory has given me a possible way to explain the role of banishment in Equestrian society. Celestia (or Luna) will only banish a pony for great crimes if they are fully unrepentant, and a repentance of their crimes, possibly followed by some acts of penance will allow them a full return to the country.
Trixie would have crossed that line in Magic Duel, but even then, the fact that it's because of an amulet wouldn't warrant a banishment. And speaking of which, had they been able to get in contact with Celestia, do you reckon she would have warranted a deployment of the Eo H?
If she did, I reckon the rainbow beam would have just destroyed the Alicorn Amulet.
Free hitching? Free stables?

Well yeah, it's pretty clear by now that no matter how bad a pony screws up, as long as they realize and admit they messed up, and it's clear they are sorry. They won't get punished beyond having to clean up the mess they made, and maybe some light community service after that.

I vote for "Banishment and Trowing into Dungeon in Place of Banishment" for Pony Monopoly.

-fast ropes into the thread-
Hey, people. What's going on?
Random thought.
It seems that recently the thread in which I posted the most are this thread and The Military Thread.
I guess that makes me...a militant brony.
Panic and procrastination will not solve anything.

Given what sort of crimes might warrant banishment, trying to clean up the mess they made might as well be banishment in some cases.
Though that could actually make for an interesting story - somepony is charged with banishment... OR, alternatively, solving the problem they caused. Which just so happens to involve a huge amount of work that nopony expects them to be able to actually pull off.
Mmm... nah. Too Prince Zuko, now that I say it out loud.

I have to admit I liked the Doctor Stable x RD pair.

Oh I didn't know he got a name. I guess he's not notable enough to become famous.

The doctor from "Read it and Weep" is basically Caramel with a unicorn horn and a different cutie mark.
As for the Pony TCG mentioned earlier, I'm pretty sure Hasbro is working on a digital Transformers TCG. Not sure how a Pony TCG would work (or how Hasbro would want it to work), but hey I guess there are stranger things. Like a working MLP fighting fangame...

I call him Dr. Stephen King Pony, just beause of a certain video that Hasbro took down.
Announcer: All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
Goofy: I don't know Jack!

I have a friend who refers to him as Dr. Not-Caramel.

My little brother calls him Dr. Slippers, for the "Why are you trying to steal the slippers?" line.
Also, the barking patient was easily one of the best damn things I've ever seen in the series. It is one of the reasons why I love this series; the writers have brilliant and sometimes outright insane sense of humor.

I accepted Dr. Stable, but made Stable his first name. I made his surname "Condition". I know that Equestria canonically has no surnames, but they're kind of important in my version of Equestria, so I make do.

By the way, has matching the OOTS and Mane 6 been done before? (probably yes).
Roy: Applejack
Elan: Pinkie
Varsuvius: Twilight
Halley: Rarity
Belkar: Rainbow Dash
Durkon: Fluttershy
With the exception of Fluttershy, they all match up surprisingly well. Applejack could also be a Durkon, but FS is definitely not Roy.
