The lack of a Rarity episode is a bit disappointing, but I guess I'd rather they use the ideas they think are good rather than try to force everyone to get exactly equal screen time.

Well, on topic, I respect the lack of a Rarity episode if it means that we don't get a crappy episode for the sake of a Rarity episode. That reminds me, I've been thinking of rewatching Secret of my Excess.

I think you might have to have an account to set it up. Basically you go to the page for the comic

and there's an "add to subscriptions" link under the price box.

And yeah, it kinda sucks that we won't get a Rarity episode, but I'd rather have a good episode for somepony else rather than give her something lackluster.

I read MS Paint Adventures' first two storylines, and a big chunk of the third, "Problem Sleuth." Homestuck is weird in that I have heard a lot of people talk about it but never mention any of the other MS Paint Adventures stuff. It's like if one season of a show got really popular and everyone forgot the other seasons even exist.

You mean like how noone ever talks about G1 or G3 MLP?

Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.

@Perpetual: That's possible, but I think it's unlikely. It may not be a two-parter, but it is a season finale, and I seriously doubt it it would be anything other than an ensemble episode or maybe a Twilight episode. Sure, it could be about Rarity, but I'd be surprised if they did that.

I've seen a few of G1 and My little pony tails.

I... actually kinda like My Little Pony Tails. Maybe it'd get repetetive or something if I watched more than a few, but I thought the episodes I saw were kinda fun. Much like this show, they're nothing new plot-wise(Though that may be a case of Seinfeld Is Unfunny), but there's still something endearing about how it's pulled off.

Why would people even think Little Pip is coming back? I mean the side characters actually do come back a lot now but why specifically Pip?

People talk about P Roblem Sleuth occasionally too. It just doesn't have the massive following that Homestuck does (for good reason IMO)

G5 is set in post-apocalyptic Equestria, after the Mane 6 fire the Elements at a insane Celestia in the final G4 episode.

The main characters find the unmarked graves of the G4 mane six who were declared traitors, and break into them, expecting money, or valuables. They are instead infused with the Elements, which they use in a destructive war between a unicorn supremacist group and a overly bureaucratic recreation of pre-apocalyptic Equestria.

The first episodes, dealing with them killing a fort of supremacists: "Welcome to Hell" and "It's All Gone South."

I don't know about much about G5, but the G8 is pretty cool. Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Russia, UK, USA, and the EU
