a fifth of all votes cast were cast JUST for MLP, and there were (says 9 but only see 7) other categories it had nothing in.

Yeah, personally I agree with the praise and accolades that the show's been garnering not because of the show itself (which is still enjoyable, I should mention), but the community and all it's done. I know it sounds self-important and stereotypical of a brony, but that's what I think.
