That's more of a joke, and I'm not sure that's what Apple is going for.

But yeah, it's perfectly fine for him to be rather charmed at first. Some basic attraction os fine for the first few moments of introduction. But after that, take it slow, develop a healthy relationship that isn't based on that singular first impression, and then get back to those initial butterflies.

I had a quick nap there. And, I've had a revelation about what I want to do with my life...I want to plant trees in Canada. Spefically, British Columba. Yes, that's right. I want to be a friggin earth pony.

But think about it. It's a great outdoorsy job in the country I want to live in, it pays surprisingly well, and you need no real qualifications. It's perfect!!!

It's tough graft alright. 10 hours a day from early spring to late summer. But you can earn about 120 to 300 dollars a day!

And I can't stress this enough. It's physical work in the great outdoors. I want that so badly.

Folks I don't think I'm going to do this ship teasing between Flutters and Batty after all, unless I can be convinced. It's too risky.

well if you're worried about driving away potential readers, just put a authors note somewhere informing people that it's just a shipteases and nothing more. I know some people(none of us) would be driven away if they thought you were trying to put Flutters and an OC together for real.

OK I'll do it. But I'll make it clear it's only light hearted teasing, and not anything serious. It can't be after all...they aren't staying in Ponyville. It's just a bit of fun with the intention of electing some daws from the readers.

But how far is too far? I draw the line at hoof/wing holding, and maybe a kiss on the hoof or cheek. Thats it.
