The toyline had a calf (Baby Leafy), a camel (Spunky), a dinosaur (Cutesaurus), an elephant (Edgar), a giraffe (Creamsicle), a kangaroo (Baby Hoppy), a lamb (Baby Woolly), a lion (Kingsley), a llama (Cha Cha), a moose (Oakly), a panda (Baby Nectar), and a zebra (Zig Zag), and the My Little Pony And Friends 4-parter "Bright Lights" had a Funny Animal zebra (Zeb).

My rule of thumb for Pinkie's power is that it's only literal if it has major plot significance. For example, stuff like her growing extra hooves in A Friend In Deed isn't because it has no importance to the plot outside of facilitating the sight gag. Same for the "be in two places at once" jokes and such.

Same here. See the thing is that it's a cartoon. Everypony does stuff that is impossible to reconcile with a sensible reality. The thing is that you just had to accept some things as not actually representing something ponies can do, even though it happens.
