I'll repost this:

Batty and Flutters will not end up together. The general idea is that it won't progress beyond a ship tease. Batty will first of all be temporarily stunned when he first meets her, act unusually adorkable around Fluttershy, get red faced and defensive if his friends suggest any such thing, and Flutters too might make one or two little cues here and there too. But that's about it.

OK, she might give him a peck on the cheek as they part ways, before running off grinning.
