. Ever since performing the Sonic Rainboom as a filly in flight camp, RD has been the personal student of Princess Celestia. But try as Celestia might, RD simply can't fit in with the snobby upperclass ponies of Canterlot. One day, after an altercation with some particularly snobby ponies and a heated exchange with Celestia, Dash decides to take some time of for herself, and flies off, going wherever the winds take her. She soon finds herself in Ponyville, just a few days before the Summer Sun Celebration. Yes, that Summer Sun Celebration...
This story was notable in that everypony was wonderfully in character. And it's not just the season 1 premier, it also condenses a few other episodes into it. oh, and Twi gives the "World of Cardboard" Speech, so that was pretty badass. Highly recommended.
The Nightmare Before Nightmare Night. In Equestria's nightmarish counterpart realm, Edeathstria, Twilight Soulshard, the Lich Queen, is preparing Terrorville for another Nightmare Night. She feels that Equestria is going kinda soft, and her best friends and fellow Elements of Terror Applemoon, Scarity, Rainbow Death, Flutterfright, and Pinkie Slice, along with the rest of the nightmarish inhabitants of Terrorsville, are planning on paying Ponyville a visit to show them how Nightmare Night is really done! But even this ambitious new plan is not enough for Twilight Soulshard, who's really starting to feel the monotony of having her entire existence revolve around scaring others. She decides to visit Ponyville early, just to see what it's like on the other side. After all, what's the worst that could happen?
as a The Nightmare Before Christmas based story, expect lots of songs. Oh, and there's also lots of references to just about everything. Some may not like that, but I enjoyed it. It's just really fun seeing what the monster versions of everypony are.
Scootaloo and the School of Ghouls -in progress, same verse as the previous story. Scootaloo is experiencing some very strange changes lately, and she doesn't know why. Her answer comes in the form of a letter from Twilight Soulshard informing Scoots that she's awakening to her heritage as a vampony. Turns out Scoots father was the most famous vampony in all of Edeathstria. Now, Scoots needs to go to the Bogmorts School of Synergy and Sorcery in Edeathstria to learn how to control her newly awakening instincts and know everything there is to know about being a vampony. But there's no way that Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom, and Pipsqueak are gonna let her go by herself, and Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash are tagging along too.
WARNING: the sillyness and references from the previous story have been taken up to 11 in this one. Not recommended for all audiences.
