I finished the episode. It was alright. Pretty anticlimactic with the super/alpha/megazord timberwolf getting a pebble stuck in it's throat. Which is also kind of weird, because it's made out of wood.

I thought the animation looked a little "off" in a couple of spots, and I'm not talking about the CGI timberwolves.

One example is when AJ is telling Twilight what's been going on with Spike. Twilight's face from straight-on looks kind of strange and off-model, IMO.

The only weird bit I noticed was AJ's pose when she was trying to pull her hoof free. Her body looked like it was weirdly shaped for some reason.

The obvious reason that AJ couldn't pull her hoof out is that AJ only has super strength when bucking or pushing, but she uses different muscles when lifting her legs, and those are much weaker.

I think it's a combo of the fact that her stomach sticks out and the fact that her front legs are disproportionally long.

Yeah right! I have tons of HP, more than any other pokemon, but I wouldn't be caught dead Biding!

I just realized that Blissey does in fact have one of the highest HP values of any pokemon. Nice.

All of the ponies are a little paunchy when in that kind of pose. It's just the way they're naturally shaped.

I'm watching Back To The Future atm. And I just realised, I think Human! Pinkie would suit a sort of '50s aesthetic. Curly hair...works at the corner (malt shop)...yeah, I can see it. I now have an idea for my human version of her.

If captain is the highest rank, then there would be no need for ranks like colonel, commander, or general.

Not necessarily. It just means that the royal guard don't go any higher then captain. That doesn't necessarily hold true for all other hypothetical military units in Equestria.

Then again it may just mean that Equestrian rank structure is weird and captain OF-8 or something ridiculous like that.

Other nations...hmm...never thought about that.

You suppose there has been any international armed conflict? As far as the canon goes, ponies' history has been pretty peaceful.
